The Inman 100, an annual list of the most influential leaders in real estate, is out this week and it includes several real estate folks with Twin Cities-area connections.

The 2014 list includes Ron Peltier, chairman and CEO of HomeServices of America Inc., the second-largest real estate brokerage company in the country. Inman credits him with the company's venture into the franchising world with the launch of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and the acquisition of several large brokerage firms, including Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors and Prudential Rubloff Properties.

John Mosey, president of NorthstarMLS, also made the list. Mosley presides over more than 13,500 MLS members in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, and has been known for his efforts to create and protect the intellectual property rights of multiple listing services and brokerages.

Inman's annual list includes those who "embody leadership, ingenuity, strength, conviction, power, persistence and progress. Their voices and actions are moving the industry toward change."

To compile the list, the group reviewed hundreds of reader nominations received via an open, online nominations process and made final selections based on an in-house review and selection process.

You can see the complete list at www.inman.com.
