Sunday, Sept. 7

Vikings: Safety Harrison Smith (illness) was downgraded from doubtful to out and won’t travel to Chicago.

Bears: Chicago added slot cornerback Kyler Gordon (hamstring) to their injury report and listed him as questionable. Fellow cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson (calf/groin) and Josh Blackwell (groin) are also questionable.

Saturday, Sept. 6

Vikings: Running back Zavier Scott (knee) and defensive lineman Elijah Williams (hamstring) are both out for Monday night’s game after missing all three days of practice this week.

Safety Harrison Smith (illness) returned to practice in a limited capacity Saturday but is doubtful. Left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee) is questionable after two days of full participation in practice this week.

Bears: Defensive backs Jaylong Johnson (calf/groin) and Josh Blackwell (groin), plus running back Roschon Johnson, are questionable. Linebacker T.J. Edwards is doubtful but did not practice at all this week.

Friday, Sept. 5

Vikings: The Vikings did not practice Friday, so their official injury report is an estimation. Notably, safety Harrison Smith (illness), who hasn’t practiced since Aug. 11, was listed as a limited participant.

Left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee), who sat out Thursday’s practice, was listed as a full participant Friday as were receiver Jalen Nailor (hand) and outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel (neck).

Bears: Linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring) and running back Roschon Johnson (foot) did not practice.

Defensive back Jaylon Johnson (calf/groin), running back Kyle Monangai (hamstring) and defensive back Josh Blackwell (groin) were limited. Wide receiver Devin Duvernay (hamstring) and defensive lineman Dominique Robinson (oblique) practiced fully.

Thursday, Sept. 4

Vikings: Left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee), safety Harrison Smith (illness), running back Zavier Scott (ankle) and defensive lineman Elijah Williams (hamstring) did not practice.

Darrisaw, who is more than 10 months removed from the two torn ligaments in his left knee, had a heavy workload in Wednesday’s practice. Coach Kevin O’Connell said there’s a “good possibility” Darrisaw will play against the Bears.

Smith has been out since Aug. 11 because of a personal health matter, but he has returned to team headquarters and participated in Wednesday’s walkthrough.

Wide receiver Jalen Nailor (hand) and Andrew Van Ginkel (neck) were full participants. This is the first time the Vikings have named of the injury that kept Van Ginkel out for a significant portion of training camp.

Bears: The Bears did not practice Thursday, so their injury report was an estimation of practice statuses. Defensive back Josh Blackwell (groin), linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring) and running back Roschon Johnson (foot) were listed as not practicing.

Defensive back Jaylon Johnson (calf/groin) and running back Kyle Monangai (hamstring) were limited. Wide receiver Devin Duvernay (hamstring) and defensive lineman Dominique Robinson (oblique) practiced fully.
