Justin Davis' goal just before halftime and Ibson's goal early in the second hald enabled the Minnesota United FC to outlast the host San Antonio Scorpions 4-3 on Saturday night.
The first half featured a combined five goals; United's Christian Ramirez scored in his third consecutive match and Kalif Alhassan added a goal and two asists.
"The guys reacted really well and showed their heart tonight," United coach Manny Lagos said. "It was important to get that fourth goal to start the second half."
Adrian Cann scored off a corner kick and Rafael Castillo converted the first of his two penalty-kick goals in the first half for the Scorpions.
