Minnesota United draws Houston in round of 16 of Open Cup

Minnesota United learned Thursday it will play fellow MLS club Houston Dynamo as its Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup opponent in the tournament's round of 16. The match is June 18 at Houston.

This marks the first time the Loons, who beat FC Cincinnati on penalties Wednesday, have advanced to the round of 16 in the tournament.

The Loons are 1-1-1 in three previous matches with the Dynamo, including a 2-1 victory at TCF Bank Stadium in MLS play earlier this season.
