The Gophers football team got a commitment from junior college offensive lineman Donnell Greene on Saturday to add immediate depth.

The 6-7, 345-pound Greene, of Marietta, Ga., played for Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College. He'll start classes at Minnesota in August and will be eligible to play this fall. He has three years of eligibility left.

Greene, who announced his decision on Twitter, also had reported offers from Missouri and San Diego State. He's the third junior college offensive lineman to transfer to Minnesota for the Class of 2016.
