Wide receiver Nnamdi Adim-Madumere, who had scholarship offers from the likes of national champion Alabama, Texas A&M, Baylor and Boise State, announced via Twitter on Friday that he has committed to Minnesota.
The 6-3, 226-pounder from Fort Worth (Texas) Southwest High School was a priority for the Gophers. He is a three-star recruit and has the second-highest rating among the Gophers' 19 commitments for the Class of 2019. Adim-Madumere is the No. 57-ranked wide receiver recruit nationally by the 247Sports.com composite ratings of major national recruiting services.
Adim-Madumere caught 26 passes for 837 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior last year.

Clay target state champion repeats
Kyle Dupont and Garrett Mourning each fired perfect 100s, leading St. Michael-Albertville High School to back-to-back Clay Target state championships at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake.
Three others shared the individual title with Dupont and Mourning: Woodrow Glazer of New Prague, Jake Mader of Annandale and Benjamin Sladek of Tri-City United.
Shattuck-St. Mary's D-man commits to U
Jackson LaCombe, a 6-0, 161-pound defenseman for Shattuck-St. Mary's in Faribault, announced via Twitter that he has committed to the Gophers. LaCombe, of Chaska, had five goals and 44 assists as a junior.
