The Gophers' Rem Pitlick was honored as both the NCAA First Star of the Week and the Big Ten First Star of the Week on Tuesday, while senior hockey captain Justin Kloos picked up Big Ten Third Star of the Week accolades.

Pitlick led the Big Ten with six points (four goals, two assists) in a weekend sweep of Penn State.

The freshman forward notched four points (three goals, one assist), including his first career hat trick, in Friday's 6-3 win over the Nittany Lions and followed up the performance by scoring the overtime winner on his only shot of the night in Saturday's 4-3 victory.

Kloos, of Lakeville, scored the game-winner on Friday and came back the next night to score the game-tying goal in the closing seconds of regulation, the set up Pitlick's overtime winner.
