Minnesota's gains

A late rally Tuesday helped stocks bounce back from Monday's steep sell-off. Eighty-five of the Star Tribune 100 companies gained Tuesday as the Bloomberg-Star Tribune 100 index rose 5.4 percent, gaining back most of the loss from Monday's 7.2 percent plunge.
