One day after manager Paul Molitor did not name his fourth or fifth starters for the regular season, Tommy Milone takes the mound for the Twins against Miami. If there's anyone among the competitors for a rotation spot, it has been Milone.

He's given up just two earned runs over nine innings of major league spring training games, and was pretty smooth in his last outing, four shutout innings at St. Louis. Now Milone is back in the same stadium to face the Cardinals' roommates.

Another strong outing could make him a lock for the rotation.

It's overcast here in Jupiter, Florida, and scattered showers are in the forecast this afternoon. That stinks because this is, without a doubt, the worst drive of spring training. But at least I'm not in snow!

Extra players today include Jake Reed, Luke Westphal, John Curtiss, Brian Navarreto, Stephen Wickens, Levi Michael and Daniel Palka.
