While we hate to see young-ish love dissolve, we also have a job to do here. So while it saddens but doesn't shock us to link to a story about Kim Kardashian and ex-Hopkins/Gophers basketballer Kris Humphries apparently splitting after 72 days of marriage, we also know the show must go on. As such, a list of a few things that lasted longer than this marriage:
*117 days: Kris Humphries' Gophers playing career. From Nov. 17, 2003 to March 12, 2004 -- spanning his one and only season.
*123 days: The current NBA lockout, to-date.
*327 days: Amount of time between Les Steckel's hiring and firing as Vikings football coach in 1984
*765 days: Kardashian sister Khloe's marriage (to-date) to another NBA player, Lamar Odom.
*1772 days: Amount of time between 100 yard rushing days in the NFL for Reggie Bush -- former Kim Kardashian beau -- who hit that mark on Dec. 24, 2006 and finally again on Sunday.
