Mama @ the mall I recently had two hours to kill at a mall all by myself while my car was in the shop. No double-wide jogging stroller to maneuver around clothing rounds. The time alone felt a little luxurious. The possibilities were endless, and the pressure was on. What would I do when presented with 120 minutes alone in a mall?

When I'm with my kids I'm a bit of a drive-by shopper. This consists of grabbing a shirt off the rack, sizing it up -- "Eh, that'll work" -- and bringing it to the cashier without stopping. This often results in digging for receipts and standing in line for returns at a later visit. Not very efficient.

My goal was to buy a few fall wardrobe staples for work. Perhaps do a little something for myself that I often don't get to do with the kids in tow. Maybe a manicure?

How did I actually spend my time? In the kids departments, of course. The kids need new pajamas. Oh, and I must get boots and winter gear before the first snowfall! So I veered off course. That's OK.

I looked down at my watch. Panic! Only 30 minutes to run around and accomplish one of my original goals.
