The Lynx waived guard Linnae Harper on Tuesday.

Harper played for the Chicago Sky in 2018 and was with an Italian team over the winter.

She played two seasons for Ohio State and two for Kentucky in college.

The Lynx regular season starts Sunday night at Target Center against Phoenix. They have 16 players left on their roster, but two players are on the suspended list.

McBride back

Kayla McBride, a key free agency signing by the Lynx this off-season, is finally headed home.

McBride's team, Fenerbahce, finished a 3-0 sweep of Galatasaray in the championship of the top women's league in Turkey with a 71-56 victory Tuesday. McBride, who averaged 24.3 points in the series, was named finals MVP.

McBride is on her way back to Minnesota, where she will have to serve a quarantine before joining the Lynx. The Lynx are still waiting for Napheesa Collier's season to end. She is currently playing in France.
