The Lynx announced backup center Jessica Adair has been waived, a moved that brings the team's roster to 14. That means three more moves will have to be made to bring the regular-season roster to the 11-player limit.

Adair, 26, averaged 3.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in parts of three seasons with the team. Last season, limited to 19 games after midseason right knee surgery, she appeared in 19 games, averaging 8.8 minutes, 2.4 points and 2.1 rebounds.

The Lynx will hold media day today, then head to Bismarck, North Dakota on Friday. The team opens its two-game preseason with a game against Washington Saturday night. The team's only home preseason game will be Tuesday at Target Center in a noon matchup against Connecticut.
