Sylvia Fowles vs. Nneka Ogwumike

This has been a battle; Fowles said she was nearly blinded for a few minutes by a hit in Game 4, and she gave Ogwumike a cut that required stitches under her eye in Game 3. Give and take. Fowles is averaging 18.0 points and 13.8 rebounds, Ogwumike 14.0 and 9.3.

Rebekkah Brunson vs. Candace Parker

Brunson averaged 15.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in two wins, 4.0 and 2.5 in two losses. Parker has yet to have a breakout game, shooting 38.3 percent. Brunson needs to play well enough to prevent Parker from sagging on Fowles.

Maya Moore vs. Alana Beard

The Lynx's best perimeter player vs. the defensive player of the year. So far: Moore has shot 58.1 percent and averaged 17.8 points per game.

Seimone Augustus vs. Chelsea Gray

Gray had 27 points in Game 1, and has averaged 12.3 in three games since. Augustus went scoreless in Game 3 but is shooting 44.4 percent on three-pointers in the series.

Lindsay Whalen vs. Odyssey Sims

Sims has been the Sparks' most consistent performer, averaging 17.0 points and 4.0 assists. Whalen bounced back from a scoreless Game 3 with eight assists Sunday.
