Lynx trade Devereaux Peters to Indiana for 6-3 center

The Lynx traded restricted free agent Devereaux Peters to Indiana, the team it beat in the WNBA Championship series last season, for 6-3 center Natasha Howard.

The Lynx traded restricted free agent Devereaux Peters to Indiana, the team it beat in the WNBA Championship series last season, for 6-3 center Natasha Howard in a sign-and-trade deal.

Howard, the fifth overall pick in the 2014 draft out of Florida State, averaged 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds for the Fever last season.

Peters, a 6-1 forward/center who was the third overall pick in the 2012 draft, averaged 3.2 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Lynx last season. She is a two-time WNBA champion.
