Lynx sign Czech guard Katerina Elhotova

Katerina Elhotova, a 5-11 guard who has played in the past two Olympic games for the Czech Republic, has signed with the Lynx.

Katerina Elhotova, a 5-11 guard who has played in the past two Olympic games for the Czech Republic, has signed with the Lynx. The team did not disclose terms of the contract.

Elhotova, 26, played five seasons with Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen on USK Praha, and one season with Lynx forward Rebekkah Brunson.

Elhotova played for the Czech Republic in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic games and won a silver medal with the Czechs at the 2010 world championships.

She is a native of Praha and has been with USK Praha since she was 16. She averages 13.1 points and 1.7 assists this season.
