After shooting 57.1 percent from the field in their season opener, the Lynx cooled only slightly to 51.6 in their second game. ... Ageless Taj McWilliams-Franklin had a double-double (10 points and 10 rebounds) against one of her former teams. ... Maya Moore had a career-high seven assists plus 15 points and five rebounds.

Sparks at a glance: Los Angeles is 2-0 like the Lynx, beating Seattle twice in different ways. The Sparks rallied from a 21-point deficit in the second half to win by six in Seattle on Friday and then they won by 13 at home on Tuesday. ...
