Lynx guard Renee Montgomery has been added to the USA Basketball roster for its fall training camp.

Lynx guard Renee Montgomery has been added to the USA Basketball roster for its fall training camp. The 19 players, coached by Geno Auriemma of Connecticut, will begin six days of workouts today in Washington, D.C. After camp is over, a U.S. team will be picked for a tournament in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

Candice Wiggins and Seimone Augustus are also on the roster, but Augustus is still recovering from knee surgery. Lynx coach Jen Gillom is one of Auriemma's assistants.

Augsburg to induct nine into athletic hall Nine individuals will be inducted into Augsburg College's Athletic Hall of Fame on Thursday.

Inducted this year: Bob Arvold (wrestling), Joel Engel (men's basketball), Matt Farley (baseball), Stefanie Lodermeier Strusz and Ruth Olson (women's basketball), Dallas Miller (men's hockey), Drew Privette (football/men's hockey), Daniel Roff (football) and Sonja Slack Payne (softball/tennis).

Etc. • The Gophers' Hassan Mead and Megan Duwell were chosen the Big Ten men's and women's cross-country runners of the week, after winning their respective races at the Roy Griak Invitational.
