For the second consecutive month, Lynx center Sylvia Fowles was named the Western Conference player of the month for June.

It is the seventh time she has won the award in her career, which ties her with teammate Maya Moore for second most in league history; New York center Tina Charles has won the award eight times.

After 13 games, Fowles leads the league in field goal accuracy (66.0 percent), is second in scoring (20.7 points per game) and rebounding (10.1), and third in steals (1.85) and blocks (1.77). She is the only player to rank in the top five in all five categories.
