Lynx center Sylvia Fowles was named the WNBA's Western Conference player of the week for games played through Sunday. It is the sixth such award for Fowles, her first with the Lynx.
The league's only 3-0 team, the Lynx were led by Fowles, who shot 57.5 percent (23-for-40), averaged 21.7 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks, registering a pair of double-doubles.
She had 26 points in a season-opening victory over Chicago and had 27 points and 13 rebounds in Saturday's victory in Dallas.
Atlanta's Layshia Clarendon was named player of the week in the Eastern Conference.
The Lynx play host to the Connecticut Sun at Xcel Energy Center at 7 p.m.Tuesday, a game that will mark former Gophers star Rachel Banham's first pro game in her home state.
