Love to have hand surgery Tuesday

Procedure will be done in New York. Love is expected to be out eight to 10 weeks following surgery.

Wolves forward Kevin Love will have surgery to repair the third and fourth metacarpal in his right hand Tuesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

The procedure will be performed by Dr. Michelle Carlson to repair Love's hand, which was broken in the third quarter of the Wolves' victory at Denver Jan. 3.

Love is expected to be out eight to 10 weeks following surgery. Love who has been battling injury much of the season, has played in 18 games, averaging 18.3 points and 14 rebounds.
