Yes, Kevin Love will play against the Lakers.

After missing the last two games against them, a sprained thumb isn't keeping him out tonight at Staples Center.

Michael Beasley, however, won't play in this third game on a seven-game, 13-day trip.

He'll miss his second consecutive game because of a toe injury.

He said before the game that he expects to play Sunday at Sacramento.

Love injured his thumb at the end of the third quarter in Thursday's 111-105 overtime loss.

He came to the bench clutching it in pain, had it taped up and returned to play half the fourth quarter and all of overtime.

X-rays taken at the arena after the game were normal and the team called it a sprained thumb.
