Lockouts in NFL and NBA are especially bad for Vikings and Wolves

Good times.

The NFL and NBA lockouts are good for nobody. That said, we are of the opinion that they are particularly terrible for the Vikings and Timberwolves.

Vikings: Rebuilding team with a new coach and a rookie quarterback = wanting to get as much time on the field as possible in OTAs and mini-camps. Instead, nothing. Add to it the stadium push, which might get done regardless but wasn't helped by a work stoppage, and you have some serious damage compared to other teams.

Timberwolves: An exceedingly young team that has been down on its luck for about the last, oh, 7 years. It is now coming off of one of the best stretches of good PR in recent history -- Ricky Rubio's signing and the drafting of Derrick Williams -- and instead of seizing on that momentum with all sorts of marketing opportunities and getting them together in supervised situations on the court with Kevin Love and Co., things are grinding to a halt. Oh, and without the lockout mess the Kurt Rambis fiasco would have been over a long time ago.

Your thoughts: Are the Vikings and Wolves hit particularly hard by this nonsense?
