The Toro Co., Bloomington, promoted Richard Olson to president and chief operating officer ,effective Sept. 1. Olson, a 29-year Toro veteran, was most recently group vice president of its international and micro-irrigation businesses.

Imation Corp., Oakdale, announced the departure of president and CEO Mark Lucas and board members William LaPerch and Tony Brausen. Lucas, who said last month that he planned to resign as CEO, may serve as a consultant to the company until the end of the year. Director Barry Kasoff was named interim president and director Joseph De Perio was elected nonexecutive chairman of the board.

Dividends

Xcel Energy Inc., Minneapolis, declared a quarterly dividend of 32 cents per share, payable Oct. 20 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 17.
