MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

Meritex Enterprises, Minneapolis, has acquired the MetroAir Building 3, a 248,358-square-foot facility in Plainfield, Ind. The acquisition expands Meritex's Indianapolis portfolio to more than 1 million square feet. Meritex will directly manage the MetroAir property along with its other holdings in Indianapolis.

Debt and equities

3M Co., Maplewood, filed a patent infringement lawsuit in federal court in Minnesota against Danville Materials Inc. The suit alleges that the sale of Danville's ZNano nanocomposite dental materials infringe on 3M's patented ESPE Filtek Supreme universal restoratives.

Fastenal Co., Winona, announced that its board of directors authorized purchases by the company of up to 4 million shares of its common stock.

Personnel

Evine Live Inc., Eden Prairie, named Tim Peterman executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Bill McGrath. Evine Live also announced the departure of Teresa Dery, executive vice president and general counsel, and president Bob Ayd.

Qumu Corp., Minneapolis announced that three of its directors, Lawrence Benveniste, Steven Quist and James Reissner, plan to retire and not stand for re-election at the company's 2016 annual meeting.
