SunShare, Denver, an energy developer with an office in Minneapolis, and Mortenson, Golden Valley, a contractor, announced a strategic relationship to develop and build community solar gardens for Xcel Energy Inc. customers in Minnesota. Mortenson will handle engineering, procurement and construction. SunShare will ­develop, finance and own the projects and sign up customers to share in the output.

RedWind Consulting, Minneapolis, a renewable-energy consulting firm, will be the exclusive North American agent for Nayxa Energy Services, Madrid, Spain. RedWind now will be able to offer comprehensive wind resource assessment services to its clients worldwide. The agreement is the result of Nayxa first approaching RedWind about collaboration and then several months of talks between the parties.
