Alliant Energy Corp. disclosed in a regulatory filing Tuesday that it will sell its Interstate Power & Light Co. natural gas distribution system in the Albert Lea area for $9.3 million to Minnesota Energy Resources Corp. of Rosemount, the state's third-largest natural gas supplier. The sale, which affects 10,600 customers, was announced in September but requires approval of the state Public Utilities Commission.
