Airlines match Delta $10 fare boost Eagan-based Northwest Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines and other major U.S. carriers matched a $10 round-trip boost in ticket prices begun last week by Delta Air Lines, according to a fare-tracking website. Discount carriers JetBlue Airways and AirTran Holdings Inc. also raised fares by $10 on certain routes, Rick Seaney of FareCompare.com said in an e-mail. Delta initiated the higher prices on Thursday, and US Airways matched them later that day. The other carriers followed over the weekend, Seaney said.

RBC Dain Rauscher changes its name RBC Dain Rauscher, acquired seven years ago by Canada's largest financial company, said it has changed its name to RBC Wealth Management, formed a single U.S. broker-dealer and launched a new technology platform that provides access to RBC's global network of products. John Taft, head of RBC U.S. Wealth Management, said, "Today's move to a single broker-dealer allows us to continue our trajectory and client service more effectively than ever before." RBC entered the U.S. brokerage business through its acquisition of Minneapolis-based Dain Rauscher, a publicly held company created from two regional firms.

MoneyGram shares hit record trading low MoneyGram International Inc., the St. Louis Park money-transfer company, fell to a record low in U.S. trading after the company said it expects $1.2 billion in impairment charges for the fourth quarter. MoneyGram dropped 40 cents, or 11 percent, to close at $3.26, the lowest value since the company went public in June 2004. The Minneapolis-based company's shares have fallen 79 percent this year. MoneyGram also delayed filing its annual report on Feb. 29.

Memorex to aim for Latin American sales Imation Corp., Oakdale, maker of data-storage disks and tapes, plans to start selling cameras and televisions under the Memorex brand in Latin America, Chief Executive Frank Russomanno said. Imation started talks earlier this year with major retailers in the region, some of which are based in the United States, and feedback has been very positive, Russomanno said. He declined to name the retailers. "People are willing to listen to our success in the U.S.," he said. "Call me back in six months, and I'll be able to tell you how successful we are."
