Keith Urban’s name keeps popping up a lot lately.
The country superstar gave a terrific performance on Friday at Grand Casino Arena.
Then on Monday, his separation from Nicole Kidman, his wife of 19 years, was confirmed. The next day, she filed for divorce.
Now the Prior Lake Rotary has announced that Urban is coming back to the Twin Cities for the 17th annual Lakefront Music Fest in Prior Lake on July 11.
This will be the fourth consecutive year the two-time CMA entertainer of the year has performed in the Twin Cities: 2023 at the State Fair, 2024 at the Fine Line, 2025 at the Grand and next year at Lakefront.
If that isn’t enough, Urban, the former “American Idol” judge, will be featured in the new CBS series “The Road,” premiering Oct. 19. In the show, he and Blake Shelton search for emerging singers at music venues throughout the United States.
Tickets for Urban at Lakefront, starting at $100, are on sale at lakefrontmusicfest.com.
