September 2, 2010 at 12:14AM

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert Kressel Wednesday approved a settlement between the trustee for Denny Hecker and TCF bank over the fallen auto magnate's Crosslake, Minn., property and some checks Hecker wrote to TCF shortly before filing for bankruptcy.

Trustee Randall Seaver will receive $140,000 as part of the settlement and TCF will take control of Hecker's personal property at the lake home.

Kressel also approved a motion by Seaver for access to records from insurer Prudential relating to Hecker policies to determine if there are undeclared assets in those policies.
