GRAY DAY LOVER ran career best two back with 10-length margin of victory at Sam Houston and merits respect if duplicates that effort. BABY TRUMP drops for over half the price transferring up from Keeneland with good early speed. Doesn't hurt getting Butler as the pilot.

SPIN gave way against much tougher at Oaklawn last effort. Should be more relaxed tonight with opportunity to regain old form.

Gets nice outside post to take the lead or just sit off the pace if so needed in this season's first stakes race. AFFIRMED CURE has realistic assignment off the long layoff while shortening up in distance. Positive 2014 season makes him intriguing play. SPEED IS LIFE had three wins at three different distances here in the 2014 meet. Must use underneath.
