$1 million Juvenile Turf

Post time: 4:25 p.m. • 1 mile, 2-year-old colts and geldings

European runners have dominated this BC turf race and once again appear to be the cream of the crop. COMMEMORATIVE enters with consecutive wins, including a commanding graded stakes win last out. Progressing each race and will give us a better price than a few of his travel mates. HOOTENANNY has been the favorite in his last three starts and should be the slight favorite at post. CONQUEST TYPHOON might have the best chance for a North American upset. Won last effort on the turf in dominating fashion after a contaminated slow beginning.

$1 million DIRT MILE

Post time: 5:05 p.m. • 1 mile, for 3-year-olds and up

The last six Dirt Mile favorites have finished off the board, and playing the trends could pay big if the streak continues. PANTS ON FIRE is the oldest competitor in the field but is peaking at the right time; won last out under a hand ride and is training smartly coming in. TAPITURE is an improving closer and looks to be main threat to the chalk; arrived at Santa Anita early to get used to the surface and has been working solidly. GOLDENCENTS is the logical favorite of the day, but drawing the rail position is not ideal for him. There is a lot of speed to his outside. BRONZO is a long-shot play shipping in from South America; three wins in last four starts.

$1 million JUVENILE FILLIES TURF

Post time: 5:50 p.m. • 1 mile, 2-year-old fillies

The European invaders seek to win their third straight title, and they have a strong delegation once again. I'm going to take a shot with undefeated LADY ELI, shipping in from the NYRA circuit. She overcame a congested trip to win in her debut, then followed it up with a three-length victory going away. Irish shipper OSAILA is a three-time winner in six starts, including stakes race at Ascot. Looks to be the best of the Euro runners. QUALIFY is another Irish shipper who has been tried and tested. RHAINA DA BATERIA and SUNSET GLOW are must use North American players.

$2 million DISTAFF

Post time: 6:35 p.m. • 1 ⅛ miles (dirt), 3-year-olds and up fillies and mares

The feature is loaded with early speed and should set up perfectly for a closer. DON'T TELL SOPHIA should get a nice view of the scalding pace in front of her while lying low in the back. Enters off consecutive swooping wins from the clouds. UNTAPABLE is deserving favorite who will be sitting in the wind tunnel right behind the front-runners. Has a bullet drill on the SA track and should be set to fire. IOTAPA is usually in the mix on her home track, including three graded wins. Expect TIZ MIDNIGHT, BELLE GALLANTEY, and CLOSE HATCHES to slug it out from the start for the lead.

50 cent Pick 4 Race 6 (4,5,6,7,9/1,4,7,9/2,3,4,7,14/7,10) $100
