Joey King will miss Thursday's game against Wofford, Minnesota basketball announced today.

Tests today showed that King has a fractured jaw after colliding with Gopher guard Andre Hollins in Tuesday's win over Coastal Carolina. The 6-9 forward is planning to travel with the team to Hawaii this weekend for the Maui Invitational.

The loss is a big one for the Gophers' frontcourt, which is already without center Mo Walker, who will be serving the fifth game of a six-game suspension on Thursday. The Gophers now have two active forwards on the roster with notable minutes: 6-11 Elliot Eliason and 6-8 Oto Osenieks.
