Erik Haula, the Gophers recruit, was named to the second all-USHL team on Thursday by the league's coaches. He was fifth in the USHL in scoring during the regular season witgh 28 goals and 44 assists for 72 points.

Haula earlier was named to the USHL all-rookie team. He played at Shattuck-St. Mary's the season before. He is from Pori, Finland, and was taken in the low rounds by the Wild in the 2009 NHL draft.

He was a plus-36 for the Lancers, the fourth best ranking in the league.

One other player well-known to metro hockey fans who was honored was Anders Lee. The former Edina High School star was named to the all-USHL first team and earlier was picked the league's Rookie of the Year. He plays for the Green Bay Gamblers.

In 59 regular-season games, he had 35 goals and 31 assists for 66 points. He tied for first in the USHL in goals, had a league-high nine game-winners, was a plus-38 player, second best in the league.

And he is still producing in the playoffs. In five games, Lee has five goals and five assists for 10 points. He will play for Notre Dame next season.
