House prices in the Twin Cities metro area continue to rise at about the same pace as the national average. That's according to the latest Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller report, which tracks repeat sales of the same of the property. In the 13-county metro houses prices during March were 3 percent higher than last year, just shy of a 4.1 percent increase nationwide. The report differs from the one released earlier this month by the Minneapolis Area Area Association of Realtors, which tracks the median price of all sales during the month.
