Hopkins senior Zeke Nnaji committed Friday afternoon to play college basketball at Arizona. Nnaji, a 6-11 four-star prospect, made the announcement at his high school.
The college basketball early signing period ended Wednesday, so Nnaji will have to wait until at least April 17 to sign a national letter of intent.
He chose the Wildcats over Kansas, UCLA, Purdue, Baylor and North Carolina.
His commitment boosted Arizona to the No. 1 spot in 247Sports.com's team recruiting rankings for 2019. The Wildcats already had two five-star guards, a four-star wing and a three-star center coming in next season.
He averaged 20 points for the Royals last season.
