The Twins released their 2015 schedule today, which is nice because it makes us think less and less about their increasingly lost 2014 season.

We've taken the liberty of highlighting what we consider key dates. You'll see them below in photo form, and we'll explain here:

April 6: Season opener at Detroit

April 13: Home opener vs. Kansas City

May 25: Home vs. Boston. That's Memorial Day, and it's an afternoon game. Sadly, the Twins are not home the preceding series for that weekend, and they are not home at all over the July 4th weekend or Labor Day weekend.

June 5-7: Home weekend vs. Milwaukee (and don't forget a good road trip for the return against the Brewers, June 26-28, a Friday-Sunday.

June 17-21: Back-to-back home series against the Cardinals and Cubs. The 21st, vs. the Cubs, is Father's Day.

July 17-19: Another road trip possibly, with a weekend trip in Oakland. It's not the greatest ballpark, but you can't beat the Bay Area.

July 24-26: Home weekend vs. Yankees.

Oct. 4: Season ender vs. Kansas City, with the AL Central on the line.

The good: Some decent series in the summer, and both Milwaukee series are on the weekend.

The bad: No long holiday weekend home series; 30 of 81 home games are either before May 7 or after Sept. 14, while they only have 19 road games in that span. It just doesn't make sense in a cold-weather, outdoor stadium to structure a schedule like that.

In any event, here's the image of the entire schedule:
