Hecklers, be careful what you wish for

In the wake of Johnny Manziel throwing a water bottle at a heckler at a golf tourney over the weekend, Charles Barkley offered his opinion to ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd.

The outspoken former NBA star knows all about run-ins with fans.

"I've been arrested eight times for punching fans,'' Barkley said " … And every single time they deserved it."

Though the courts might disagree with Sir Charles' assessment, his words do show the frustration that athletes can have.

And that begs a question for the would-be heckler:

Why poke a bear with a stick?
