The Gophers women's basketball team fell to 0-3 in Big Ten Conference games, losing to Indiana 78-62 on Wednesday night in Bloomington, Ind.

Kenisha Bell scored 23 points — on 23 shots from the field — to lead Minnesota, and Carlie Wagner added 11 but none of the other starters had more than nine points and the bench combined for six.

Guard Alexis Gassion paced the Hoosiers (12-4, 2-1) with 26 points and was 3-for-4 on three-pointers. That's two more threes than made by the Gophers, who were 1-for-12 behind the arc while Indiana was 10-for-23.

The Hoosiers took a 11-3 lead 4:20 into game and led 17-6 after one quarter and 42-23 at halftime.

The Gophers (9-7, 0-3) outrebounded Indiana 47-40 but shot only 37.3 percent to Indiana's 42.5.
