Freshman wing Nathan Burke of the Gophers will be out for this weekend's Big Ten quarterfinal series against Michigan and, if Minnesota advances, probably for most if not all of the postseason, after a knee to knee hit against Arizona State last weekend.

Minnesota coach Bob Motzko said on his Tuesday radio show that one player — a source confirmed it was Burke — will be out four to six weeks. He has six goals and nine assists this season.
