Travis Boyd and Kyle Rau were named the Big Ten's First and Second Stars of the Week on Tuesday.
The Gophers forwards combined for seven points last weekend in the Mariucci Classic. Boyd scored three of his four points in Saturday's 6-2 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The goal and two assists were a single-game career-best.
Boyd also scored a goal in Friday's 2-2 tie with Colgate and was named to the All-Tournament Team with Gophers defenseman Ben Marshall. It's Boyd's first Big Ten honor.
Rau's three points pushed him into elite company with 102 career points (38 goals, 64 assists). He reached the milestone with an assist on Friday, and scored two goals on Saturday. He is the 80th player in program history to score 100 points.
It's the second Big Ten honor for Rau. He was the conference's Third Star the week of Oct. 15.
The Gophers extend their streak of honors to all nine weeks of competition. They've earned 12 honors by eight different players.
Wisconsin defenseman Jake McCabe was the Big Ten's Third Star of the Week.
• The Gophers maintained No. 1 in the polls after their first weekend of competition in nearly a month.
