Details are a little sketchy at this point, but there are a fair amount of things that can be pieced together from message board postings from Spartantailgate.com. The main things that seem certain:

*A Michigan State fan had a heart attack in the stands during the Gophers/Spartans basketball game Wednesday night.

*A fan wearing Minnesota gear -- possibly a doctor who happenend to be seated nearby -- came immediately to his aid and tried to revive him until paramedics arrived.

*The heart attack victim's condition is still precarious, though there have been perceived signs of improvement.

*Folks are trying to find out the identity of the Minnesota fan in order to thank him.

If anyone has more info on this, we'd love to hear from you. And, obviously, we hope for the best with the fan in question.
