Lynx update: The Lynx (18-6) have won five straight and seventh of eight after a double-overtime victory Tuesday against Atlanta in which F Maya Moore scored a franchise-record 48 points and PG Lindsay Whalen scored a season-high 26. They are 3-0 vs. San Antonio this season. Moore is averaging 29.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game in July.

Stars update: The Stars (12-12) ended a three-game losing streak with a 95-93 victory over Tulsa on Tuesday. They were led by rookie G/F Kayla McBride's 26 points. McBride has averaged nearly 17 points per game in July. Veteran G Becky Hammon has announced she will retire after this season, so this is the South Dakota native's last regular-season game at Target Center.
