Preview: The Lynx and Wings meet for the second time in three days. The Lynx (5-6) defeated the Wings 85-73 on Thursday for their first road victory of the season. The Lynx shot 48.5% from the field, while holding the Wings to 34.7%. The victory was the fourth in a row — and 16th in the past 17 games — for the Lynx over Dallas. The loss was the second consecutive for the Wings (5-7), who are just 1-3 at home this season.

Players to watch: Lynx G Kayla McBride scored a season-high 22 points on Thursday. McBride, who is averaging 12.9 points per game, reached 3,000 career points. C Sylvia Fowles had 14 points and a season-high 12 rebounds on Thursday for her third double-double of the season. Wings G Arike Ogunbowale scored 20 points on Thursday — the ninth time she has scored at least 20 this season. G Allisha Gray and F Kayla Thornton each scored 10 points off the bench.

Numbers: McBride made all seven of her free throws Thursday and has made 36 of 37 free attempts this season — a league-best 97.3%. For her eight-season WNBA career, McBride is shooting 89% from the line.

Injuries: For the Lynx, Natalie Achonwa (knee), Aerial Powers (thumb), Jessica Shepard (groin) and Rennia Davis (foot) are out. Powers had surgery to repair a torn UCL in her right thumb Friday and will be out 8-10 weeks.
