One more road trip
Preview: The Lynx begin their final regular-season road trip with the first of three games in six days. The Lynx (23-6), who beat Phoenix 105-69 on Tuesday, seek their first two-game winning streak since a seven-game streak ended Aug. 6. The Stars (7-24) are coming off a 75-55 loss at Los Angeles on Tuesday. The Lynx have defeated the Stars nine consecutive times.
Players to watch: Lynx F Maya Moore, averaging 16.9 points per game, scored 21 points Tuesday after scoring 22 Sunday in a loss at New York. Lynx G Jia Perkins, averaging 4 ppg, scored a season-high 18 on Tuesday and is averaging 13 points in the past three games. G Kayla McBride leads the Stars in scoring at 15.2 points per game. Stars C Isabelle Harrison, who averaged 3.1 points per game last season as a rookie, is averaging 11.7 points and 6.5 rebounds.
Numbers: The Lynx have shot 50 percent or better from the field 11 times this season and are 74-3 since the start of the 2011 season when they shoot that well.
Injuries: Lynx G Seimone Augustus (ribs) is probable, F Rebekkah Brunson (ankle) is questionable and G Lindsay Whalen (hand) is out. Stars G Moriah Jefferson (knee) is questionable.
