Preview: The Lynx, coming off a 110-78 victory over Atlanta on Friday, were 0-2 against the Mystics last season and lost to Washington 85-68 in the preseason. Since opening the season 2-6, the Mystics have won two straight. The Mystics, who are 0-4 at home, are coming off an 87-79 victory in Dallas on Wednesday.

Players to watch: Lynx G Jia Perkins, who scored just 33 points in the season's first seven games, scored a season-high 18 points in the victory over Atlanta. Mystics G Tayler Hill, a Minneapolis South product, leads the Mystics in scoring (15.3 points per game). Hill, who scored 18 in the preseason victory over the Lynx, scored 14 in the victory over Dallas on Tuesday. F Emma Meesseman, who didn't play in the teams' preseason meeting, had 23 points and 12 rebounds against Dallas. Meesseman is averaging 14.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

Numbers: The Lynx played on back-to-back nights twice during the 2015 regular season. They were 4-0 in those games. Mystics coach Mike Thibault is the winningest coach in league history with 261 victories.

Injuries: Lynx G Seimone Augustus did not play on Friday after being hit in the head by an elbow on Tuesday. Mystics rookie G Kahleah Copper has missed the past two games because of a concussion and isn't expected to play.
