Lynx update: F Maya Moore has scored 32 and 36 points for Minnesota (18-6) in its past two games, comeback victories over San Antonio on Tuesday at home and Atlanta on Friday away. … The Lynx were down 16 points in the third quarter vs. the Dream. That rally was the second biggest in franchise history on the road. … G Seimone Augustus returned to action against the Dream and scored six points after missing 10 games following arthroscopic surgery on her right knee. … The Lynx are first in the league in field goal shooting (45.3 percent) and third in points per game (77.6). … They play Washington in their next two games, the second is Wednesday at Target Center.

Mystics update: Washington (13-9) is tied with Indiana for second place in the East, three games behind New York. … The Mystics' front-line is formidable with two All-Stars, 6-5 Stefanie Dolson and Emma Meesseman, and 6-3 midseason addition LaToya Sanders. All average about six rebounds per game. … Dolson averages a team-high 12.5 points, Sanders 2.7 blocks per game, the second most in the league. … Tayler Hill, a former Minneapolis South star, is a top reserve, averaging 7.7 points. … The Mystics, led by former Connecticut coach Mike Thibault, are 3-3 in their past six games, alternating wins with losses. They are 8-4 at home, 5-5 on the road. … Washington was 0-2 vs. the Lynx last season, 2-0 in 2013.
