lynx gameday
9 P.M. at Seattle • Key ARENA • 106.1-FM
Lynx update: This is the second of four consecutive road games for the Lynx, an important stretch that also includes games at Los Angeles on Sunday and at Atlanta on June 13. The only undefeated team in the league, the Lynx are 4-0 on the road this season, including a victory at Chicago on Memorial Day. F Maya Moore (27.6), G Seimone Augustus (19.9) and G Lindsay Whalen (16.3) lead the team in scoring, and the Lynx are getting healthier. Top reserve F Devereaux Peters is back, and G Monica Wright has a small chance of making her debut in this game. This is a rematch of the Western Conference semifinals last season.
Storm update: Coach Brian Agler got the Storm into the 2013 playoffs despite not having G Sue Bird and F Lauren Jackson because of injury. With Bird back and the addition of F Crystal Langhorne via trade, the Storm started the season with some fairly big expectations. And that makes Seattle's 2-6 start a bit of a surprise. The Storm started the season with three consecutive losses, though starting with games against Los Angeles and Phoenix weren't going to be easy. Five of their first eight games were on the road.
