Lynx gameday

9 P.M. at Phoenix • US Airways Center • 106.1 FM

Lynx update: The Lynx lost by 22 points in Los Angeles on Tuesday. It was their most one-sided loss of the season and ended a three-game winning streak. Now they travel to play the Mercury, the hottest team in the WNBA, in an arena where they lost 81-66 on June 14. F Maya Moore had her streak of consecutive games with 20 or more points ended at 11 in L.A., where she scored 13 points on 5-for-14 shooting. Over her past five games Moore has shot 37-for-106 (34.9 percent). Tuesday was the first time in four games that C Sylvia Fowles has failed to score in double figures or get at least five rebounds. G Lindsay Whalen was the only Lynx player to shoot better than 50 percent vs. L.A.; she has scored in double figures in four consecutive games. G Seimone Augustus (knee) is out.

Mercury update: Phoenix has won four in a row and 10 of its past 12 games, rebounding from a 3-5 start to move into second place, just two games behind the Lynx. F DeWanna Bonner's three-pointer at the buzzer Tuesday gave the Mercury an OT victory over Tulsa. Bonner had 25 points, eight rebounds and three assists. She has scored 24 or more points in three of her past four games. F Candice Dupree has averaged 23.7 points over her past three games. C Brittney Griner has averaged 5.5 blocks over her past four games. The two teams have split two games this season. G Marta Xargay Casademont (ankle) is questionable.
