Lynx update: The Lynx (19-9, two games ahead of Phoenix in the West) have lost five of their past nine games and are 2-4 on the road during that stretch. They are percentage points behind New York for the best record in the WNBA and home court throughout the playoffs. The Lynx will be without G Seimone Augustus (left foot) for a third straight game. G Anna Cruz, who started for New York as a rookie last season, has scored in double figures the past two games while starting for Augustus. C Sylvia Fowles has scored in double figures in 11 of 12 games since joining the Lynx. She has double-doubles in her past two games. F Maya Moore has shot 32.7 percent and averaged 14.5 points in her past four games. The Lynx are just 5-4 vs. Eastern Conference teams this season.

Liberty update: New York (18-8) is 6-2 in its past eight games but is coming off a one-point loss in Indiana on Sunday. The Liberty, 8-2 vs. the Western Conference, leads Indiana by 1½ games atop the East. C Tina Charles leads the Liberty in scoring (17.9) and rebounding (8.7). She has averaged 21 points over her past five games. G Epiphanny Price is second on the team in scoring (15.3). Former Lynx Sugar Rodgers and Candice Wiggins come off the bench.
